I am a painter

Finally I painted the guest room last week.
I purchased the supplies for almost two months ago; however I did not have chance to start it.

The reason why
- I was busy to do other stuff
- My husband did not have any two days off to watch my son during painting.

Anyways,

This is my first time to paint the drywall in my life. I did have no experience.
It was the challenge to me.
When I googled "how to paint the wall", it sounds not so difficult.

Original wall was close to white. I chose "blue grey color" called going grey(Olympic brand)
During the painting, my husband worked the back yard with my son. So I had to paint all  by myself.

Painting is not difficult. But I really needed the energy. It was kind like full marathon.

This picture is middle of the painting. I had to the brush for small area.
Oh! You can see my fabric collections in the closet. :)
I will share the room as my sewing room in the future.

I painted two coats. So It looks perfect. The color shows above is the day time. It looks like  more blue.

Th one is the evening. It looks grey which I desired.

I also painted the trim and door in white.
Next I will make the valence for the window!! I will show you another time.

I love the gardening as much as the sewing.
Here is the front yard, the path toward the entrance.

We have some mysterious plants on the side of the path and finally it has started to bloom!

It is yellow lilly!! What a cheerful color it is!

I am really enjoying to stay outside to watch the flowers.
When I touch the soil, I feel peaceful and calm. :)

new child purse

new child purse : Age 4+

I had a oppotunity to make a child purse for the older kids last week.
The customer wanted the adjustable strap.

Also I have been thinking to make bigger bag with adjustable strap for my son.

Here is the result. :)
I am really love how it turend out! The adjustable strap works perfectly.
I made it long, so he will enjoy the bag for a long time. (probably until he refuse these bag.)

The both fabrics(print and blue) are from Japan.
Aren't they cute?
