pink patchwork pillow cover

16" pillow case

I finished new pillow cover!  It came out so pretty.... Oh so sweet!! >o<
The finished size is 16"x16". I quilted the top and back is envelope closer.

This pillow cover will be the gift to my friend's daughter for her 3rd birthday. :)

 I'd like to make another one with different color combination.
If you want me to make yours, I am happy to make custom cover!

Anyways, I purchased new PC for me!! Yey!
My old one is 7 years old. It worked very well, however the capacity became full even I moved a lot of dates to other drive.
This is my first time to buy the PC in USA. I can read and type Japanese, but the os is English.
I still need to practice how to use it.
I feel I became old, because I need a time to get to used to it. Probably I think too much.
 My son, 4 years old, he learns more faster than me to new computer!!

I spent  my time to make new patchwork project.

This one is made from pink/red/cream fabric combination. lovely?
Each square is 2.75" including seam. I am going to finish this into 16" pillow cover.

In contrast to the above, this patchwork is no color rules. However they are all japanese fabric.
I have a lot of small piece of Japanese fabric. Most of them, I used to make child purse, zipper pouch and crayon rolls.
I cut 2.5" and  pieced them randomly.
I do not decide what I am going to make yet.

Both of patchwork is going to be a gift to my friends.

I will upload the finished project in another time!

Hello everyone. It is already Jan. 9!! Happy New Year.
I had wonderful time with my family and friends. How about you?

This is the traditional Japanese new year's foods. My friend prepared everything for us.

My son's school started Jan 3. When I picked him up on Friday, he didn't seem well.
Yes... He got a flu.
He started to have fever and bad cough in the afternoon. We both couldn't sleep well at night because of his coughing. It was long weekend.
Fortunately, he looks better this morning! I still have fever slightly, but not coughing anymore.

It is hard to see the little boy is suffering the sick.
I hope he will back to school soon.
