front yard - west

 This is our front yard. (west side) Previous owner is an Asian. That is why they loved to use the big/small rock/stone for the garden.

I think this place would be part-shade or full shade. In the summer time, the tree will full of leaves to make the shade .

I purchased these plants for the front yard.

hosta, astilbe and bleeding heart

These are for the part shade and full shade garden plants.

My mom in Japan loves to take care of the plants. She has all of these plants and they looks so lovely.
I remembered  the Astilbe  bloomed beautifully in her garden last spring.

Can you see the big rock the left side of the picture?

A front of the big rock, I planted the 2  hostasand 2 astilbes. Also I planted the bleeding heart behind of the medium size of the rock. (center of the picture).
Probably it is hard to see the bleeding heart from the front.
It is secret plant for enjoying to see inside of the house. (Guest room&my sewing room) :)

I'd like to enjoy the gardening as much as the sewing.
It is new for me, however I already know I will addict it.

My husband's friend visited last Sunday. And my son had good time with little girl.

I told you earlier, we did not have any sofa and TV yet. However we had great time together.

My son and little girl( she is 2 ) enjoyed sliding the steps... lol

I told him not to slide the steps everyday, but it didn't work at all. Because they were so much fun.

I cooked macaroni gratin, fried chicken with Japanese sauce, rice and green salad.

I served black tea which I got from my Japanese friend. The flavor is blue berry.

The tea taste so good! Riah(husband's friend wife) loves it!

I hope next time they stay over the night. Now I am more enjoying the invite the guests.

By the way, this is the gift from another friend.

Lovely white orchid flower

This is small succulent pot which I made.

My old succulents grow big, so I cut some of them and just put them on the soil.

I hope they will survive.

good bye

My old apartment.
I enjoyed living this apartment especially the summer time. ( there is a big swimming pool)
Six years ago, I moved to USA and started to live with my husband in this apartment.

First year, I welcomed a little kitty named Mimi. Second year, I had another kitty named Lucy.
Third year, I had a beautiful my boy.

We had more and more stuff in this small rooms every year. Addition, my boy became 3 years old and now it is time to think about his future. We decided to move to more better place to live, like good school district.

One week later. (better?)

I still have to figure out how to organize the kitchen stuff.
I'll try to keep the counter simple.

We gave the old TV and sofa to my husband's friend. So we do not have any TV and sofa yet.
It is very quiet at the night without TV.

Previous owner left all blinds and curtain. There are nothing wrong. So I kept them for a while until I have new idea to change my tastes.

Here is my husband.

Sometimes I don't understand man's brain. The second day, he started to trim the big tree with his friend ALL DAY!!
